I've to repost this one for personal reference as I have a hard time checking out all existing Group Buying Sites.
I'm so overwhelmed with all the discounts these sites are offering. And they are so popular nowadays because people are inclined to canvass cheaper price on goods and services unless of course you are rich and you need not worry about the price of it. But for general people per se, it's a great option to buy in.
Group Buying Sites are websites that offer products and services at a significantly low price. It can go from 30% discount to as much as 100% discount! Yeah it happens! There’s a catch though. The deal will only be activated if there are minimum number of people buying the promo.
Group Buying Sites work with retailers promising them more customers/clients in exchange for discounts.
So, how does a Group Buying Site work?
- Log in to the group buying site (registration is free!).
- Browse through available promos/deals.
- Choose the one you like and confirm purchase by clicking on the “BUY” link.
- Pay through any of the options listed by the group buying site. Most of them offer PayPal, bank deposits and credit card payments.
- Confirmation will be sent via email or the site itself.
- You can print voucher through the email they sent you or under your account page in the site.
- Bring the voucher with you when claiming with establishment.
- Enjoy your discount!
The following are the insights of one blogger regarding her top 5 group buying sites.
- Deal Grocer – I think I’ve spent the most in Deal Grocer. Their deals are just top-notch! I wish though that they could give bigger discounts. Like right now, they offer deals for travel but all are for 30-40% discount only.
- Ensogo – I really love the many deals they offer. Case in point, I bought 17 vouchers from them so far .
- Cash Cash Pinoy – Very similar to Ensogo, they offer a lot of deals. I believe they got the biggest break when they offered 45% discount for the Sofitel Spiral Buffet.
- Buyanihan – this was the 1st group buying site that I discovered. I wish they offer more ALL-in travel promos. I’m still contemplating on their Boracay promo but it doesn’t come with round trip flight.
- Beeconomic – I love the unique deals that they offer. I got to try out Pole Dancing due to their 50% promo before hahaha!
List of group buying sites is listed below. Should I missed one or for additional, please feel free to add comments.
